International Teams Canada is a Christian mission organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and oppressed. Our motivation to care comes from our pursuit of Jesus and His mission to engage the most marginalized and impoverished among us, especially women, children and refugees.

Do you do relief ministry? Evangelism? Both?

International Teams Canada is concerned with the physical, economic and spiritual well-being of everyone. We work in certain geographic areas meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor and oppressed.

Where do you serve? How many people do you have working with you?

International Teams Canada serves both in Canada and around the world with approximately 100 fulltime staff. The wider International Teams family is working in 45 countries and there are over 1000 staff involved. Click here to find out more.

What is the relationship between the RIDE for Refugees and International Teams?

The RIDE for Refugees was founded in 2004 by International Teams Canada. The RIDE for Refugees is a registered Canadian Charity.

Do You Sponsor Refugees?

Neither ITCA nor the RIDE for Refugees sponsors refugees to Canada. However, International Teams Canada works in refugee projects in Canada and overseas and the RIDE for Refugees is a fundraising event that raises money for refugee projects in Canada and overseas.

Do you need volunteers?

We love volunteers! International Teams Canada hosts a number of large events each year in multiple cities including the RIDE for Refugees. If you are interested in volunteering please call us directly at 519.669.8844.

When can I expect to receive the tax receipt for my donation to International Teams?

Gifts by cheque and cash are receipted annually by mail forwarded by January 31st. Online gifts are receipted immediately via email. Monthly automatic credit card withdrawals are receipted annually on January 15th by email.
