Meet the new VOH Primary School Director

Pastor John Baptist Sebgo is the new primary school director, who started working at Village of Hope last year. He has brought a lot of creativity and new ideas to the school and there is excitement around the expertise and passion he brings.

The kids enrolled at Katie’s Preschool in La Pinada returned to the classroom at the beginning of February, following a two-month winter break. Last week we celebrated another exciting milestone for Hilmar and Senderos du Luz — a new preschool class opened in La Pinada!

"A safe place to sleep" — Mary Louise's story

As many as 53,000 families lost their homes, making them even more vulnerable during a time of uncertainty in the country due to gang violence, political upheaval, and COVID-19. Women especially are at risk without a safe place to sleep. Impact Haiti has been hard at work, helping to build houses for 20 of these families in the South of the country

Patrick, the Ugandan leader of Jinja Connection, believes that many of the challenges associated with children migrating to the streets are a result of a lack of support in households and the community at large.
