An Update from Quito

An Update from Quito
March 1, 2021

Pastor Fabian shared an update on how things are going in Quito as we begin a new year. The virus continues to have a hold on Ecuador, with vaccines being rolled out very slowly. Carmen Bajo Church had to stop hosting in-person services two weeks ago due to someone contracting COVID, and they are finding it a challenge to connect with the church youth. Church staff and volunteers are hoping to run some retreat events for the youth when they are permitted to do so again.

There is good news to share too! Impact Ecuador has been able to provide support and outreach to the of community Subio Norte in Quito. The church plant in Subio Norte has been continuing well; they have about 20 kids and 12 adults meeting on Sundays, and Nelson and members of the Missions Team from Carmen Bajo are leading services.

The Erazo family are keeping well, Fabian and Grace's granddaughter Abigail is 2 months old now and doing well. Fabian is so thankful for your support. It has meant so much during this extremely difficult time to be able to provide life-saving help to people in the church and the community. Please know that they pray for you continually and are so grateful for your partnership and support, now more than ever!

P.S. Thank you to our partners at Creekside Church in Kitchener-Waterloo for collecting this update and sharing it with us! We love our partnership community and are always happy to chat with church leaders about establishing a new partnership.

Keep up with our latest news and programs!
